Distort II is the second print in Sam Peatey Photography's abstract water series. This fine art print offers a glimpse into the hidden beauty beneath the water surface, with tropical vegetation warping and distorting at the interplay of light and water. This was taken in some of the clearest water you can find in Australia, a stream constantly fed from an ancient underground spring in the Northern Territory. A mesmerising abstract water artwork for your collection.

Framing (Australia Only)
There are three different frame types available for Sam Peatey's Print range, these include Black, White and Tasmanian Oak (Premium Frame). Paper prints come with the option of a border which is a white matting, come fitted with ultra clear glass and are strung ready to be displayed on your walls.
The size of our framed prints refers to the actual photo print dimensions. The frames are 30mm wide by 20mm deep. The optional border adds approximately 20cm. For example, a 50x75cm (20x30") photo print with a frame and border (mat board) will measure 70x95cm. Please consider this when planning your wall space.
Fine Art Canvas (Australia Only)
We use a refined selection of Museum Grade Fine Art Canvas which is perfect for water photography. Printing on canvas rewards Sam's artworks with simple elegance and gives it a lively, tactile presence.
Each canvas is machine stretched to give consistent tension across the artwork. The internal frames we use are kiln dried, finger jointed timber without wedges, meaning tightening or loosening it later is completely unnecessary. The assembly is completed with framers tape and is strung ready to hang on your walls.
The fine art canvas come stretched around an internal timber frame however there is the option to add a float frame to the exterior of the canvas. Float frames are available in black, white and Tasmanian oak and are a great way to add more depth and contrast to our fine art canvas range. Fine Art Canvas does not have the option for a border.
